Small DIY Jobs
Our Handyperson Service can help you out with small DIY jobs such as minor painting jobs, fitting security items including door chains or window locks, basic joinery work, etc.We cannot do large scale works, gas or electrical work (other than light bulbs or fuses) or any work at height - but we may be able to put you in touch with someone who can!

Two lovely men came out and did the job to a high standard. They were pleasant and polite, respectful of my property, and cleaned as they went. I would definitely use the service again.
Catherine09/08/2021I've had the Age Concern Handymen out a couple of times to plumb in the washer and put some blinds up for me. They are brilliant and very courteous. Their workmanship is excellent and they always tidy up after the job is completed. They are a credit to the service and I can highly recommend them. Thank YouSusan18/11/2014On moving home I had a number of small jobs that needed doing. Being unable to do these myself I contacted Age UK and they arranged for their handyman Lee to visit. He fitted a mirror, hung curtain rail and fitted a blind in my bathroom. He was friendly polite and very efficient, he did an excellent job and I will certainly be using Age UK Handyman Service again in the future.
